So, what’s your favorite theme in iPhone? Unless you have a jailbroken iPhone, you cannot answer that question. While Cydia is the home of various themes available for jailbroken iPhones, it does have a lot of annoying themes out there and most of them are designed for Winterboard.
It’s really nice to have a beautiful theme in your iPhone and it basically depends on what you like. Let me share to you a theme that is designed for Dreamboard which will bring OS X Lion to Apple’s smartphone. Developed by jdsss, the Ultimatum Theme is ready to bring the elegant features of Apple’s desktop operating system for iPhone. It just not only looks like the OS X Lion but it also functions like a genuine iPhone version of Lion.
Though there are other tweaks that previously attempted to port desktop OS to iOS, the Ultimatum has surpassed them all. Here are the steps in installing Ultimatum to your iPhone.
1. Install Dreamboard for free from Cydia through the ModMyi repo (http://apt.modmyi.com/).
2. Add the source: fnetdesigns.com/cydia/repo (Manage-Sources-Edit-Add).
3. Go to Changes tab (at the bottom) and install Theme Outlet.
4. After the installation, close Cydia and look for Theme Outlet which is located in your springboard.
5. Open Theme Outlet and download OS X Ultimatum theme.
6. Launch Dreamboard, locate the theme and install it.
Congratulations! You will now have an OS X Lion theme in your iPhone.
The Ultimatum theme is on its Beta stage but it replicates many things you had in your OS X such as Finder Menus, Stacks, Launchpad, scrollable docks and windows that can be dragged around as if you were using a mouse. Some users may experience bugs that need to be fixed in the future. To be safe, always backup your iPhone before installing this theme.
The video demonstration will further give you the urge to install this theme in your iPhone.
